Badlapur Gets love in Cinemas, Varun's Fans made him a superstar !

06:53 |
Badlapur has developed as a decent achievement of the season. After a progression of fizzled movies after a long time, industry was getting anxious and there was a robust believed that the following huge achievement would come up when the World Cup finals. On the other hand, exactly when it appeared like a sad situation, an Adult evaluated film like Badlapur hit the screens and wound up developing as a beneficial endeavor for all included.

On the off chance that the weekend was great, the weekdays stayed steady too, subsequently bringing about around 37 crores coming in toward the end of the week. Presently these are great results without a doubt for the Varun Dhawan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer as one would have expected an aggregate like this to be earned amid the film's lifetime run, thinking of it as' dim and exasperating subject. In any case, now that the film has been acknowledged by the crowd, and there is very little rivalry in next couple of weeks either, 50 crore is a given for Badlapur.

With this, Varun Dhawan has now kept his record in place and is currently the main young person from his era to score four straight victories consecutively, what with Student of the Year, Main Tera Hero and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya being acquiring issues too.

With respect to Irrfan Khan's Qissa, there was zero buzz around its discharge and vanished without making any clamor at all.

Acche sanskar bhi ho
Poora wafadar bhi ho, sochenge tab

Shaam ko ghar aate aate sabji laaye
Aisa hi, aisa hi, aisa hi
Aisa different dhundenge

Graduate shaaleen thoda chanchal dhoondenge
Dikhne mein naa ho jo uncle, dhoondenge

Grahkarya mein zara daksh dhoondenge
Ordinary nahi, aaye haaye ordinary nahi
Ordinary nahi deluxe dhoondenge

Convent se padh ke aayi wo khojenge

Suit mein jo accha lage
Shave karke baccha lage
Aam thoda kaccha lage, wohi lenge

Geet gaake raaton mein jo sulaaye
Sarkari naukri ke sukh dilaaye
Aisa hi, aisa hi
Aisa hi sau percent dhoondenge

Saat janam ki lambi puliya

Khuda se zyada tumpe aitbaar karte hain
Gunaah hai jaan ke bhi baar baar karte hain

Kore kore kaagaj jinpe bekas
Likhta hoon ye khulasa

Tumse mile dil mein utha dard karaara
Jeene laga wohi jise ishq na maara
Tumse mile dil mein utha dard karaara
Jeene laga wohi jise ishq na maara

Tu meri hai prem ki bhasha
Likhti hoon tujhe roz zara sa
Tu meri hai prem ki bhasha
Likhti hoon tujhe roz zara sa
Kore kore kaagaj jinpe bekas
Kore kore kaagaj jinpe bekas
Likhti hoon ye khulasa

Tumse mile dil mein utha dard karara
Jeene laga wohi jise ishq na maara
Tumse mile dil mein utha dard karara
Jeene laga wohi jise ishq na maara

Abhi abhi dhoop thi yahaan pe
Lo ab barsaaton ki dhaara
Jeb hain khaali, pyaar ke sikko se
Aao kar lein guzaara

Kabhi kabhi aaine se poocha hai
Kisne roop sanwaara
Kabhi naghmon hi ne
Kabhi lab chandni
Kabhi chamkeela sitaara

Kitna sambhal lein
Bachkar chal lein
Dil to dheeth awaara

Tumse mile dil mein utha dard karara
Jeene laga wohi jise ishq na maara
Tumse mile dil mein utha dard karara

Ireland start with a surprising victory

02:00 |
Ireland put the world in the cup as the obliging West Indies sleepwalked to an embarrassing - does it embarrass them anymore, though? - defeat during which only Darren Sammy and Lendl Simmons seemed awake in rescuing them from 87 for 5. The West Indies bowling was as flat as their top order as the adventurous Paul Stirling, smooth Ed Joyce and nerveless Niall O'Brien coasted to the target of 305 efficiently and without any anxiety despite a late wobble that came too late. Fittingly the most compelling story played itself out in Nelson, whose population is 45000 and whose cricket ground, the Saxton Oval, holds a maximum of 6000.

There was immense joy as Ireland's discipline and nous stood in a two-finger salute to the administrators' plans to keep them and other smaller cricket teams out of the World Cup. There was grief too as West Indies showed for the most of the match a lack of application, fight and cricketing smarts. It was almost as if they had a long night out in Nelson but forgot to invite Sammy and Simmons. Only rarely do two men win matches against teams that maximise their resources as Ireland do.

Successful 300 chases in World Cups

    Ireland 329 for 7 v England in 2011
    Sri Lanka 313 for 7 v Zimbabwe in 1992
    Ireland 307 for 4 v Netherlands in 2011
    Ireland 307 for 6 v West Indies in 2015
    England 301 for 9 v West Indies in 2007

It doesn't matter that Sammy posted the highest score by a No. 7 in World Cups - 89 off 67, it doesn't matter that the 218 their lower half added was the second-highest in ODI history, it doesn't matter that Simmons accelerated from 26 off 44 to 102 off 84. What mattered was that this was a flat pitch with boundaries hard to defend, and that they didn't have the bowling to defend. Stirling and Joyce showed them how to do it, letting at no point in the chase the asking rate go beyond 6.64. This was no upset; there were 25 balls to spare when the match finished. This was a clinical defeat of a team that could not look less interested even if it tried.

The Ireland attack is made up of quicks who bowl in the mid-120s and spinners who don't turn the ball. They rely on accuracy and tenacity and clever changes of pace. West Indies have some of the biggest hitters going around who make millions through Twenty20 freelance. This was a small ground. Ireland's industrious scrappers could have come unstuck at any point of time, but by the time that happened West Indies had decisively dug themselves a hole too big through woeful shots and attitude.

Sammy, Mooney fined for inappropriate language

West Indies allrounder Darren Sammy and Ireland bowler John Mooney have been fined 30 per cent of their match fees for breaching the ICC code of conduct during their World Cup match in Nelson. Chris Broad, the match referee, found both players guilty of violating Level 1 Article 2.1.4 of the code, relating to "language or a gesture that is obscene, offensive or insulting".

According to an ICC release, Sammy was heard using inappropriate language during the 34th over of the West Indies innings, while Mooney "swore several times when a fielder dropped a catch in the 45th over".

Both players admitted their offences and accepted the fines imposed on them.

Take a look at the replays from the umpire's point of view during West Indies' first innings. None of their non-strikers backed up. They avoided singles with the faithfulness of committed men. And then take a look at the wickets. Only two fielders are allowed outside the circle in the first 10 overs. When one of them is at long-on, it takes some special skill and thinking to hit a catch down his throat. You'd venture a batsman with such skill and thinking won't be averaging more than 20; Dwayne Smith averages 19 and scored 18 here. Later in that over, Darren Bravo, possibly the worst runner going around in international cricket, took some time taking his eye patch off and registered the first diamond duck of this World Cup.

Chris Gayle played his slowest innings against a non-Test-playing nation, 36 off 65, before holing out to deep midwicket. When Marlon Samuels was caught plumb later in the same over, he proceeded to display self-indulgence by wasting a review. Denesh Ramdin went on to sweep without getting outside the line and missed. There would have been a lesson in there for Samuels had Ramdin actually got outside the line and missed out on the review, but West Indies until then were too woeful for that.

There was redemption in the air for Ireland spinners. Andy McBrine, the offpsinner chosen ahead of Craig Young and Alex Cusack, known better for his 24-run over in their rout by Netherlands in the World Twenty20, turned the screws on. He began with a maiden to Gayle before running Bravo out. George Dockrell, the other spinner who was bowled for only three overs in Ireland's defeat to West Indies in the last World Cup, then handcuffed the other big hitters and took the three wickets in the middle overs.

The last of the wickets brought Sammy and Samuels together in the 24th over. Sammy and Sameuls batted sensibly for their 154-run stand in 21.1 overs. Sammy reiterated what a grave mistake it was to strip the ODI captaincy of him. West Indies took 167 off the last 15 overs, but the telling comment was made by the centurion Simmons in a spot interview. He said they would have ideally wanted 340 on this surface.

The words rang true from the time William Porterfield and Stirling began to hit boundaries early in the chase. Stirling wore one on the head early in the piece, but hooked the next bouncer for a six. There was emphasis on bowling short, and there was limited success enjoyed by West Indies with that. However, the wicket of Porterfield fell to Gayle's part-time offspin. That hardly broke the momentum as Joyce and Stirling flowed smoothly. Stirling took the odd risk, but Joyce hardly made a mistake.

There was a ruthlessness to how the two went about the chase. There had been a relatively quiet phase when Kemar Roach came back to bowl the 23rd over. The asking rate was at its highest at this point, but Roach's three overs earlier had gone for 26. Stirling just took him on. The first ball he slogged over midwicket for six. The third he pulled for four. The pressure had dissipated. In the next over Joyce went after Sammy, hitting him for three fours. West Indies went back to Jerome Taylor in the next over, and Stirling hit him out of the attack too, taking 18 off the over.

The ask was now down to less than a run a ball, and now the only question was if there would be an icing with centuries to both. They weren't to be. Stirling fell eight short, Joyce 16, but ever the scrapper, Niall O'Brien made sure there were no major stutters with an unbeaten 79 off 60. The biggest icing, though, was that of the five successful chases of 300 in all World Cups, three have been delivered by Ireland, two of them against Test nations. Still want to keep them out?

Kohli's century leads India to a comfotable win over Rivals

01:56 |
If Adelaide had never seen anything quite like it, the noisy hordes of India and Pakistan supporters were well and truly familiar with this tale. A Virat Kohli hundred and supporting hands from Shikhar Dhawan and Suresh Raina lifted India to 300 for 7, and the task of claiming victory proved beyond Pakistan for the sixth time out of six in this most intense of World Cup fixtures.

Just as the "sell-out" crowd of 41,587 fell some 10,000 short of Adelaide Oval's capacity, the contest did not quite reach the heights many had hoped for. Pakistan's chase of 301 was too jittery, and the captain Misbah-ul-Haq was left in the familiar position of keeping his head while all around him were losing theirs. Misbah's innings ran Kohli's close for the best of the match, but it was the collective effort of India's batsmen that made the difference - Dhawan and Raina also contributed substance.

MS Dhoni then marshaled his men skilfully, cajoling strong spells out of Umesh Yadav, Mohammed Shami, Mohit Sharma and R Ashwin on a surface that slowed a little as the match wore on. India received one helping of assistance when Umar Akmal was given out caught behind off Ravindra Jadeja via DRS referral, based on evidence that seemed circumstantial at best, but in truth the match had already begun to slope away from Pakistan.

The loss of Ahmed Shehzad followed by Sohaib Maqsood in the space of three balls from Umesh, after the establishment of what seemed a sound platform, was the hammer blow to Pakistan's chase, leaving too much for the middle order to do in a team featuring the explosive but never completely reliable Shahid Afridi as high as No. 7. Shami's four wickets were a just reward for his efforts, which began with the early wicket craved by MS Dhoni, when Younis Khan mis-hooked and was taken behind by India's captain.

That sort of a start had been made all the more important due to exemplary death-bowling by Pakistan. As well as Kohli played in a worthy reprise of his twin hundreds on this ground in last year's Border-Gavaskar Test match, India did not quite get away as they would have wanted on a hot day and a blameless pitch. This was down largely to some excellent work with both new and old ball by Sohail Khan, supported by Mohammad Irfan and Wahab Riaz.

When Raina and Kohli were motoring towards the end of their 110-run stand, it seemed as though 330 was plausible. As it was, only 21 runs came from the final four overs. Sohail claimed five wickets when he did MS Dhoni for too much pace and then Ajinkya Rahane for too little with the first two balls of the 50th, narrowly missing a hat-trick when his yorker beat not only Mohammed Shami but also the off stump.

It may even have been better for Pakistan. Kohli offered a pair of difficult chances, and Pakistan needed to clasp at least one of them in order to restrict India to a less lofty total. Yasir Shah could not hold onto a running chance at deep midwicket when Kohli had made just three, and on 76 a well-pitched, left-arm orthodox from Haris Sohail evaded the gloves of Umar Akmal.

Misbah might also have miscalculated slightly when he gave the ball to Afridi before Yasir. While Afridi's greater experience merited his introduction, Yasir was not called upon until Kohli and Dhawan were well set, and struggled to contain rather than seeking wickets against batsmen less sure of themselves - his final figures a barren 0 for 60 in eight overs.

Masses of spectators from India had assembled at the Oval's southern plaza before the match, with another gathering at the Rotunda in Elder Park across the Torrens River. Pakistan's gathering was smaller but resplendent in a mass of green shirts in the lower tier of the eastern stand.

Both groups were initially kept a little quiet as Mohammad Irfan and Sohail Khan began with discipline and purpose. Sohail's first ball swung back at Dhawan and drew a speculative appeal, though replays indicated the ball had struck bat rather than pad. Irfan's bounce extracted one edge that flew to where a third slip might have been, but Misbah's intent to defend was made clear when the second slip disappeared the ball after Dhawan cut the first boundary of the day behind point.

Rohit Sharma has recently been India's most dominant ODI force, but he was hurried out by Sohail, who generated considerable pace from his strong-shouldered action and arrived too quickly for the batsman's attempted pull shot. Dhawan's travails on this tour have been many, and it was a somewhat chastened figure who took his time at the other end, gathering steady momentum but respecting Pakistan's bowlers.

Kohli, too, had some recent outs behind him, failing to pass 20 in the triangular series or either of India's Cup warm-up matches. So he played within himself, helping India to keep wickets in hand for a later surge that is already becoming customary at this tournament, only two days and four matches into its narrative. Yasir's dropped chance was the moment's grace Kohli required.

It was also the introduction of Yasir that signalled a higher gear from Kohli, boundaries disappearing through cover and mid off and 11 runs from the wrist spinner's second over taking India past a run rate of five an over for the first time. From there it continued up and up, punctuated only by Dhawan's dismissal for an important 73. Even that moment aided India's momentum, for Raina immediately struck the ball cleanly, taking advantage of the gaps left by the presence of only four men outside the fielding circle at most.

Kohli's hundred drew Indian paroxysms of delight and an expression of relief and gratitude from the batsman, his departure a just reward for Sohail's persistence. Raina and Dhoni were then expected to pile up the runs in the closing overs, but exemplary death bowling from Sohail and Wahab, much as their captain Misbah had forecast on match eve, meant India did not get past 300.

Pakistan went to the dinner break with plenty of optimism, but it would prove too flimsy to sustain them through the pressures of the sort of chase that has tripped them up in all but one of their six Cup defeats at Indian hands. They will look back ruefully on moments like Yasir's dropped catch, or Umar's caught behind dismissal. India, meanwhile, can look ahead with hope. At an effervescent Adelaide Oval, their winless Australian tour has turned a corner.

Roy shows normal occupancy in Box Office

06:00 |
Roy featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Arjun Rampal and Jacqueline Fernandez in lead parts has begun off on a not too bad note on its opening day. For the morning demonstrates, the film recorded an OK inhabitance of 45-half at the multiplexes. Thinking of it as is an ordinary week day, the inhabitance is truly good. The film's music has ended up very prominent and that is an in addition to point for the film. Additionally since Ranbir Kapoor is seen in a film after a year, there has been truly buzz for Roy. With Valentine's Day simply a day away, the sentimental thriller has discharged on an ideal minute and hence couples will be running theaters to watch Roy which has effectively figured out how to swoon many individuals with its sentimental tracks.

Anyhow the film is by all accounts a more urban driven show implied for a multiplex crowd, so the single screens may not record great figures. An opening of more than 6-8 crores is normal for this film.

Hawaizaads Box Office Collection Day 1

01:26 |
Hawaizaada featuring Ayushmann Khurrana had a tragic opening at the Box Office in India. The film discharged on a typical Friday with lower inhabitance right from the morning shows and neglected to get later in the day as well. Hawaizaada gathered 57 lacs on its first day at the local film industry.

The film, which was a biopic on Indian researcher Shivkar Bapuji Talpade, got negative audits from the faultfinders. Additionally the film was not advanced exceptionally well and had made little prerelease buzz in the business sector. With a not all that well known music collection as well, Hawaizaada does not appear to have much degree other than to depend firmly on verbal.

The film has discharged with two different movies and sine Khamoshiyan is holding admirably furthermore with Baby as yet going solid, the film will need to demonstrate a decent hop on the weekend to make a not too bad gathering.

Tu Har Lamha Song Lyrics | Khamoshiyan

01:12 |
Waaqif toh huye tere dil ki baat se
Chhupaya jise tune qaaynaat se
Waaqif toh huye tere uss khayal se
Chhupaya jise tune apne aap se
Kahin na kahin teri aankhein,
teri baatein padh rahe hain hum
Kahin na kahin tere dil mein,
dhadkano mein dhal rahe hain hum
Tu Har Lamha.. tha mujhse juda..
Chaahe door tha main.. yaa paas rahaa

Uss din tu haan udaas rahe
tujhe jis din hum na dikhe na miley
Uss din tu chup-chaap rahe
tujhe jis din kuch na kahe na suney
Main hoon bann chuka, jeene ki ik wajah
Iss baat ko khud se tu na chupaa..
Tu Har Lamha.. tha mujhse juda..
Chaahe door tha main.. yaa paas rahaa

Lab se bhale tu kuch na kahe
Tere dil mein hum hi toh base yaa rahe
Saansein teri iqraar kare
Tera haath agar chhulein, pakde,
Teri khwahishein kar bhi de tu bayaan
Yehi waqt hai inke izhaar ka..
Tu Har Lamha.. tha mujhse juda..
Chaahe door tha main.. yaa paas rahaa
